Beatriz Armendáriz currently teaches Economics of Development, International Monetary Economics, and Microeconomics at the Economics Department of University College London. She has taught in numerous universities. More recently, she was part of the Summer School 2012 faculty where she taught a short course titled “Microfinanzas: Nuevos Avances Teóricosy Hallazgos Empíricos” at the Department of Economics of Universidad de Los Andes http://economia.uniandes.edu.co/programas/Escuela_de_verano/profesores/Beatriz_Armendariz.

She has held the position of Visiting Professor at the Toulouse School of Economics, of Visiting Associate Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she taught Economic Development, and of Visiting Professor at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics, Business and Management where she taught Microfinance. Armedáriz has taught Development Economics intermittently at the Harvard Economics Department since the year 2000.
